Vizsla1
we would need someone who can flat out recruit (has the ties with some good areas) and find a guy that can stop our players from dropping the ball. That last part is out of Watson's hands. Quote Link to comment
huskerjack23
I want the 2007 Patriots offense. Josh McDaniels-esque. I thought we were pretty much going for that last year. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
I would love to get Norm Chow but there is almost a zero percent chance of that happening. One person I would love to see come back is Scott Frost. I didnt know he is the WR's coach at Oregon and I would really, really love to see him come back for the same position here. He has been w some of the best offensive minds in all of football and would also have ten times more passion about husker football as a whole than Gilmore does, just my opinion. I've liked the idea of Frost coming back, but I'd still like to see him learn more about Oregon's Offense..Maybe another season? Isn't Mangino an "offensive" genius? I heard he was available!! Can you imagine anyone wanting to play for him..We have enough trouble with recruiting. Everyone please, please, please quit suggesting that Johnson or Gill or any other head coach is coming to NU to be a freakin coordinator. It's not going to happen, never, ever, ever. Same thing that was said about Bo. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
Dirk Chatelain Frank Solich Joel Makovicka (knows everything about football just ask him) Quote Link to comment
huskers1
The same thing may have been said about Bo but for very different reasons. Bo was an ASSISTANT that got PROMOTED to HEAD COACH. Not a HEAD COACH that willingly took a demotion to become an ASSISTANT. It doesn't make any sense at all and I have no idea why people would think that people would be willing to take a step back. Herd Husker
here's what i've been thinking.... - two offensive decommits in the last two days = watson most likely gone (one being tyler gabbert, watson's prize recruit this year) - two juco commits from fort scott today = possibility jeff sims is in the mix to replace watson and bringing his two top players with him. - but i dont know why bo would go for a juco head coach to be our oc. granted sims has put fort scott in the elite of juco football, but i think we can snag someone with a little more prestige...
