macroboy
Chattanooga -Big win. Offense looks awesome but it is Chattanooga. Fresno State -Win. Offense starts to look more like last year. Washington -Closer win. Huskerboard is starting to get nervous. Wyoming - Win. The cowboys aren't very good. Wisconsin - Close loss. Our offense looks bad. Huskerboard freak-out on Beck, Barney and Martinez begins. Ohio State -Win. It's at home and there is no way the off season drama doesn't weaken them. Minnesota -Big win. Don't they have leftovers of a Cosgrove defense. Mich. State -Surprisingly big win. Defense looks awesome! Northwestern-Narrow win Penn State -Narrow win. Michigan -Win easily and I torment by Michigan fan friends and their Richrod Callahan hangover. Iowa -Very hard fought and close win that will plant the seeds for this forced TV rivalry game. We come back and beat Wisconson in B10 champ game. I really think we lose another game but I don't know which. Quote Link to comment

This... As someone who has coached for years I can tell you it is very hard for me not to see us winning every game, the same goes for the Huskers. I can't look at a game and not see NU winning it. There isn't a game on that schedule that screams loss. We will probably be picked to win every game, with the possible exception of Wisconsin. We have to get out of this mentality pressed on us during the Callahan years that we can't/won't win every game. From '85 (when I remember from) on I always thought we would win them all, now the bowl game was a different story. Now I am back to that. 13-0, B1G champs, BCS title game bound to see if the Huskers can win one against the SEC for the B1G!!! Quote Link to comment
95huskers
we will undoubtedly lose a game that we feel we shouldnt lose and quite possibly win a game we shouldnt win. i feel like this could be the case if we play wiscy twice i think we beat them once and maybe we lose to a mich state or iowa or northwestern. all i know is im pissing my pants with excitement for the season to start Quote Link to comment
theknife
I'm going to take a slightly different approach. Games we will win: Chattanooga Fresno State Washington Wyoming Minnesota Games we should win Northwestern Michigan Iowa Toss up games: Mich. State Wisconsin Ohio State Penn State Prediction 9-3 season and birth in Big 10 Championship. Too many concerns on offense to say we go undefeated and the team still needs to prove they can show up at every game. I'm hopeful we make the leap, but a shot at the Big 10 our first year is the most optimistic I will be. Quote Link to comment

HuskerT
I say 10-2. That game @ Wisconson is going to be awfully tough to win and I figure we'll lose a game that we should win probably Northwestern or Michigan Quote Link to comment

hskrfan4life
In a repeat of '95 Nebraska surprises the nation and wins every game by 21+ points! Plus beating Alabama by 30+! Sorry I'm a Husker die hard! We refuse to lose! Quote Link to comment
akita
Sorry I drank the koolaid. Big ten is down this year. I really expect them to run the table. Possibly play ou in the nat champ game. Just so you know. I was at the spring game of callahan when every one clapped when daily threw the bomb on the first play. I just sat there and wa like we are screwed. My grandfather said after the spring game we are going to beat oklahoma. I told him I needed a drink and took to him to the bar. He ended up driving home. I am more of a Austin Husker guy then a kool aid guy,but I just do not see us losing a game this year regular season. Quote Link to comment
