redout22
I really do think he will be fine and will learn.. I remember during his sophomore season he had a good 5 personal foul penalties and look what happened the next two years.. Quote Link to comment
okaive
Like this quote alot. Telling Suh not to be physical would be like telling the Hulk not to turn green; it's in his DNA. 1 Quote Link to comment
Apathy
Suh fined for $20K for his tackle on Andy Dalton Quote Link to comment

redblooded
lol. Think Colt McCoy is happy they decided to piss Suh off before friday? Quote Link to comment
GSG
This sh#t is getting ridiculous. They're really out to make Suh seem like a dirty player. Check out this quote from an ESPN article: Detroit's second exhibition game is Friday at Cleveland. Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas said he and his teammates are mindful of what Suh can do. "Everybody sees it and it's the back of your head, but it's not really something you worry about," Thomas said. "Most of our focus and attention is between the whistles and it seems he's getting a name for himself for what happens after the whistle." http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp11/story/_/id/6870889/ndamukong-suh-detroit-lions-fined-20k-slamming-andy-dalton-cincinnati-bengals When have ANY of Suh's penalized hits been "AFTER the whistle"?! Moiraine
I hope that comment gets him thrown into McCoy 1 Quote Link to comment

It's pretty clear the NFL have become such pansies that they don't deserve Suh. We need to get him a new identity and 4 more years of eligibility so he can play real football again without a bunch of fat pansy NFL fans whining about him hitting their crappy fantasy QBs too hard. 95huskers
i would let him tackle me like that for $20k Quote Link to comment
Nebula
The NFL has a pretty serious problem on its hands. The head injury/dementia issue that continues to unfold concerning past players has the potential to erupt into a fiscal litigious nightmare for the league, and they are going to have to do what they can to protect their highly lucrative industry while simultaneously maintaining the aspects of the game we love. I don't know if it's possible. The game we all love involves crushing hits like the ones Suh lays down regular basis. Those hits are also starting to make NFL shot callers more and more squeamish as names like Dave Duerson scroll across the casualty index. There is no easy solution. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Man, at no point was Andy Dalton in any kind of danger. It was not a crushing hit in the slightest. 1 Quote Link to comment
irafreak
We should just shut the sport down...and MMA...and even soccer if we really don't want people getting hurt. It's not as though the guys aren't being paid. It's a tough job but they understand the risks. Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
Man, at no point was Andy Dalton in any kind of danger. It was not a crushing hit in the slightest. Agreed, I honestly think it was the fact that his helmet came off. It made it look much worse. The NFL can say that player safety was involved because he lost his helmet, but there was no way for Suh to know that and/or stop his tackle. It's like the NFL punishes him because he tackles too hard (much like the flag at Baylor). Suh's a beast, sorry 'bout it NFL. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Well, 59% of the 18,000+ voters on ESPN.com think the fine was too harsh. I'm sure those aren't all Husker and Lions fans. Quote Link to comment
