Suh welcomes Andy Dalton to the NFL

This sh#t is getting ridiculous. They're really out to make Suh seem like a dirty player. Check out this quote from an ESPN article:

Detroit's second exhibition game is Friday at Cleveland. Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas said he and his teammates are mindful of what Suh can do.

"Everybody sees it and it's the back of your head, but it's not really something you worry about," Thomas said. "Most of our focus and attention is between the whistles and it seems he's getting a name for himself for what happens after the whistle."

When have ANY of Suh's penalized hits been "AFTER the whistle"?!

It's pretty clear the NFL have become such pansies that they don't deserve Suh. We need to get him a new identity and 4 more years of eligibility so he can play real football again without a bunch of fat pansy NFL fans whining about him hitting their crappy fantasy QBs too hard.

The NFL has a pretty serious problem on its hands. The head injury/dementia issue that continues to unfold concerning past players has the potential to erupt into a fiscal litigious nightmare for the league, and they are going to have to do what they can to protect their highly lucrative industry while simultaneously maintaining the aspects of the game we love. I don't know if it's possible.

The game we all love involves crushing hits like the ones Suh lays down regular basis. Those hits are also starting to make NFL shot callers more and more squeamish as names like Dave Duerson scroll across the casualty index.

There is no easy solution.

Man, at no point was Andy Dalton in any kind of danger. It was not a crushing hit in the slightest.

Agreed, I honestly think it was the fact that his helmet came off. It made it look much worse. The NFL can say that player safety was involved because he lost his helmet, but there was no way for Suh to know that and/or stop his tackle.

It's like the NFL punishes him because he tackles too hard (much like the flag at Baylor). Suh's a beast, sorry 'bout it NFL.
