Kinnie

True, Rex running into Taylor was huge and a freshman mistake.

Rex had more busts than Kinnie. I cannot believe nobody is bagging on Burkhead for the terrible game he had. Apparently Rex gets a free pass for a bad game, but BK doesn't. Could be worse though - Martinez was just about our entire offense and he's getting heavily critiqued, too.

First game guys. Pass judgement in a few games maybe.

^^ This. BK will be a stud at WR for us. Just wait and see.

And we said that about Nunn and Paul. Both were flops their senior years. Kinnie is a senior. There should be no excuse for him dropping some of the passes that touched his hands. He's one of the few players who should be making the plays the team needs.

Its been one game..... Jesus some of you are ridiculous. If he hasnt shown anything after 3 or 4 games then we can start the criticism, a lot of people played sub par on Saturday, it happens.

Yeah your right. It's not like he is a senior and this is his first year playing or has been practicing all off season. If all people that should have their crap together, it's BK. I expect this out of a freshman or sophomore, not a senior.

Time will tell. We'll know in a month or so if BK is a bust.

It wasn't just the drops. He got beat by a smaller, slower CB on that post route. You have to win those types of battles. You have to go get the ball, don't just expect it to fall into your hands.

THIS

The most disappointing part of the WRs game Saturday to me was this one simple thing. Go get the ball. There were cases where NU's WRs let the Moc DBs make plays on the ball because of no going to get the ball, using their bodies to shield the DB, and flatout not really doing what we heard numerous guys saying they have been told to do, Go Make Plays.

THis can and hopefully will be easily corrected. Also as the pass pro shores up I think(would hope) Taylor's accuracy will improve. He still was rushing throws and not looking off WRs and missing guys.

This is nothing new. Last year people would take every opportunity to jump on Helu while constantly giving Rex a pass. I don't quite understand it, I know Rex has a lot of heart and plays hard, but he's just not as good as he's made out to be. If I were tuning in to the BTN to see Nebraska play for the first time and saw Rex, I would say that the Huskers fit right into the B1G because the perception is big-slow-football.
