BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
When he committed to Nebraska, Stafford had no idea of the success the Huskers have had with juco players under Bo Pelini. But he learned quick enough about the impact of guys like David, DeJon Gomes, Yoshi Hardrick and Kinnie. After he committed, he began studying the way coaches used Gomes in particular. "I was like, 'Yeah, that could be me when he was gone,'" Stafford said. "That really inspired me." http://huskerextra.com/sports/football/article_ac07e43c-377b-5ed2-97b4-952105430266.html It would be interesting to see what role they decide for him to play. He could be really impressive like Hagg and Gomes if they go that route. Besides "the hit" he had two other great tackles and could help set the tone in future games they way he brings the sledgehammer!! Quote Link to comment
walksalone
If that kid has the success of David, Gomes, etc, then hells yeah.. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
I think we're going to see Stafford in the Gomes role and Austin Cassidy in the Hagg role with Courtney Osborne at SS and either PJ Smith or Corey Cooper at FS all on the field this year against several teams. BIG ERN
This kid will be better than Gomes IMO. He's suited way better than Gomes at stopping the run. I want to see Cooper get some more PT as well. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
We need more juco transfers Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
We need more juco transfers I'd rather we be choosy dunno why, but it drove me crazy getting a new juco QB every year under whatshisname Quote Link to comment
n.e.husker
IMO he will be starting at safety by the Wisky game. Quote Link to comment

Lyons in the Sea of Red.
IMO he will be starting at safety by the Wisky game. Yup, game changer. If we had courtney and stafford back there I would not want to be a crossing reciever. Quote Link to comment
