(Trying to limit any direct spoiler) People's bodies still have electricity running through them even if they die immediately, and it seemed like he was in trigger pulling motion at the same time so I don't know if that would be a guaranteed solution or not. Way less realistic is how nobody was watching the walkers that, per the camera's point of view, seemingly came out of nowhere. What walkers? Weren't they surrounded the entire time? Yeah but it's not like they were ignoring the walkers. If you were actually in that situation you'd still be keeping an eye out, making sure the smell isn't wearing off, making sure none get too close to you, etc. This is being really nitpicky and it's not really even a complaint, but I have a hard time suspending belief that zombie veteran Rick Grimes wouldn't have been immediately on the lookout and surveying the environment as soon as the group started to freeze up. Then at LEAST after the kid get bit to make sure the noise wasn't going to attract more. But they all just stood there not paying any attention. Quote Link to comment

And Abraham's one-liner about opening the gate was incredibly cheesy - in a good way. As was the explosion in the opening scene. It was like they realized it was okay for entertainment to overshadow the melodrama for a moment. Quote Link to comment
