sd'sker
Wouldn't everyone want the game to go on to sorta take their minds off this entire mess? at first that is what i thought, but seeing how embroiled the football program is involved, the game might only serve as a glaring reminder. sd'sker
That testimony PDF was absolutely disturbing. Oh my lord. ? http://www.attorneyg...Presentment.pdf where did you find this? edit: and why does pennsylvania get the website 'www.attorneygeneral.gov'? why do they get the general website and not need to include their state abbreviation. Paul in WI
That testimony PDF was absolutely disturbing. Oh my lord. ? http://www.attorneyg...Presentment.pdf My god. That literally made me sick to my stomach............ I hope they fry him. The entire lot of them needs to be fried. That grad assistant wasn't the only one who witnessed the crimes. Paterno and others are just as guilty for basically doing nothing about it. He, like everyone else there, just looked the other way like it was business as usual. What's a few underprivileged kids in the grand scheme of things, right? If that's the price of winning, we'll just keep it our dirty little secret. If he had an ounce of morality, he wouldn't have continued contact with the pervert. He and others would have reported it to the authorities immediately and washed their hands of the guy. They didn't, and that says it all. Nice legacy that you left there, Joe "Pa"...... Rot in hell. Quote Link to comment

Can you imagine being a player or even students or faculty of PSU reading this document that details these encounters happening in buildings and facilities they use, or at least walk past, every day? It must be even more sickening to them. What a horrible situation. Quote Link to comment

Someone posted it on page one I believe. I sent it to a guy at work and then I reposted it for GMoose. The main site is http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/ That's the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Here's a link to the actual press release that has a link to the PDF file above within it. http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/press.aspx?id=6270 Quote Link to comment

ladyhawke
How many kids continued to get sodomized after the conscious decision by the staff to protect the Penn State "brand"? (What I'd also like to know is how you could possibly walk away from witnessing an adult sodomizing a child without giving him a bat to the temple first?) How many of you would report that to your boss and then do nothing more? We're wayyyyyyyyyyy beyond NCAA violations here. How many things could possibly be worse than that? Those sick SOB's protected a pedophile rather than have a black mark on their program. The guy still had a locker and office on campus forgodsakes! If there's ever a reason to give a program the death penalty, this is it. Nuke their program and prosecute all those involved to the fullest extent of the law. Draw the friggen line. If not here, where? Paul, I couldn't understand why the Grad Student or the janitor didn't stop what they saw happening? I'm with you. My husband and I lost our only son. If he would've lived and someone had done something to him like that ...well, that person would be singing soprano if you know what I mean. Quote Link to comment

I agree that it is an excellent article and I can say without hesitation if anyone ever did something like this to my child..............I would kill them slowly and painfully. It's absolutely disgusting, inexcusable, irrational, and a few other colorful words. There would be no trial, I'd admit that I killed the individual and take my lumps. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
i guess the loss to NW does not look so bad anymore. Not even in the same universe. I can move on after watching the Husker loss, a game, with my young son. We can go out after the game and toss the football around, and still have some smiles and laughs, and cheer on the team next week. If this was my son in this scenario, I am scarred for life if he is sexually assaulted, as well as he is. NU football losses break your heart for a moment or two. This scum ruined lives and broke hearts for a lifetime for many people, as well as the worms that protected him. Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
No: This is an issue from the past and to call a game would be huge for a number of reasons. Quote Link to comment
