Hes interested, he wouldnt have visited twice if he wasnt. If the game against Georgia showed us anything, they are alot deeper at DT than we are. Im surprised he hasnt committed to Georgia yet, so thats interesting. Lots of people in this kids ear when your this highly touted, and unfortunately most them are telling him to go to Georgia, especially when he is from Georgia, so its an extremely tough pull. I still have hope, if the Bradley deal goes thru it may open the door for us a crack, they are good friends.

If you play the odds you will be right 90% of the time if you say...not looking good currently

We're going to eventually catch a break at DT. Some player is going to look at the need we have at that position and say, I'm going to make a name for myself here, and commit to us.

Could this be it?

Whether it makes a difference or not but UGA lost Naaim Mustafa, a DE recruit to Okie Lite just yesterday. I know they play different positions, but it opens up another spot for them.
Yeah. Now they only have like 34 commits with a max 25.

They only have 29 commits that I see... Georgia has been pretty good about not over sighing like a lot of SEC schools do.

If the max number of recruits is 25, and Georgia has 29, then how are they "pretty good" at not over-signing? Would love to hear the logic in that statement....

The max is 80 recruits overall, so if they take a smaller scholarship class it can mean they can take a larger class once every couple of years. Especially since they usually lose a few juniors early to the draft.

Edit: For example, last year they recruited 19 players, which means depending on who they lose this year they could have 29 spots open.

I'm just saying, if they have 25 "available" how can they justify taking more.... How this was/is allowed for so long in the SEC is beyond me.... Unethical stuff....

They will take over 30 because they signed a very small class last year. 5-7 (because I don't care to look up the actual number) are early enrollees so they will count against last year. That was the big push they had for Johnson. They were hoping to get him in as an early enrollee so it didn't hurt/count against this class. Consider it the most "ethical" way to oversign without officially breaking any rules.

They had 19 on their listing on 24.7. I do not know how early signings work and all that. I just hope that the kids don't get screwed over, beyond that I don't really care. It seems really shady how recruiting rules work in different conferences. I do not think its fair to the students to have scholarship revoked.

I don't see anything wrong with that strategy. Penn State is using the same strategy and are up to 18 commits.
