Now comes the period when our coaches and current players will have to fight tooth and nail to persuade the last half of the 2013 recruits. I'll agree Newby seems to be the one most leaning our way right now. We really need Sandland and Johnson to get onboard. Another Oline and freshman D line player would help. UNL's recent commitment aside, it's the middle of the season which is always a relatively slow period for recruiting. Not only do the coaches have other priorities taking precedence (you know like game prep) so do the HS kids (they have their own games to worry about). Things will start to pick up a bit now that the HS season is ending and more so between the BTCG & the bowls. Quote Link to comment
