Animal_Mother
Man....Miller is just faster than just about every defender out there Miller has beat everyone he has played against not just us. I know....just amazed at his athleticism. Kind of does what he wants when his mind doesn't get in the way. You don't see that at this level all that often. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
We need to look at other qb options!! You need to check your meds.............every single time Taylor has a bad game or makes a bad decision you Taylor haters come right out of the woodwork and give your glorious opinions on how we have "better" options. It certaintly isn't Ron Kellogg III and you seriously want to burn a redshirt right now and let Armstrong play when he doesn't know the offense well enough? The back-up QB is always the most popular person on the team and it's hilarious. Quote Link to comment

nuhuskeralum
How was Alabama able to hire Nick Saban and he is able to get top-tier recruits in Tuscaloosa, a craphole in the middle of Alabama? Is that a serious question? That "craphole", and surrounding areas, is where all of the athletes in this country live.... Are you as stupid as the guy in NebraskaHarry's avatar looks? Is this a serious answer? We're talking about a SEC school here...it's not a question of how they're getting recruits there, it's a question of how much they're paying them under the table. :-| We have billionaires in our state, why is it we can't get some top tier guys like them? strigori
Lucky for us this will probably be our hardest game of the season. Michigan may be a push but I'm not gonna say so. Robinson will do the exact same thing Miller is doing to us. No chance we win that, or Northwestern for that matter. Quote Link to comment

Jeremy
it's a combination of coaching and recruiting. i don't like boise state, but peterson has done a great job out there. Quote Link to comment

Florida and Louisiana are loaded w/ talent. Then again, so are Texas and Cali. That's just another excuse. Get a top-notch recruiter, and a top-notch coach, who players actually WANT to play for, and top players will come here. I lived in Louisiana for over 20 years when ChaRLIE mACcLENDON WAS lsu'S HEAD COACH, AND THEY WERE RARELY IN THE TOP 20. Why does Mississippi always suck if there is so much talent there? That is exactly my point. Just another excuse that Nebraska fans use to explain why we can't win. Quote Link to comment

epocSoN
Out coached in every aspect. Zone read x100 still don't work on the 101st try. No deep safetied. No qb spy.... our coaches didn't want to win. Quote Link to comment
nuhuskeralum
I'm not serious about the paying players of course. Quote Link to comment
AFhusker
Kind of like how we fired a nine-win coach and no big name wanted to come to here to coach as a result? That is because Frank left this team devoid of any talent. With the expectations we have here, there is no way anyone could win with the "talent" that he recruited. It was going to be a 5-6 year rebuilding project that the fan base didn't have the patience for....then we go and hire another inexperienced coach who doesn't know how to recruit....so a decade later, we are still in the same place we were back then. Getting hammered by every team with a heartbeat and feasting on crappy teams to a supposed magical "9" win standard. Frank had more talent on D leftover for Cally than we have now, by FAR. The 2003 defense was a testament to this fact... And the defensive coordinator wasn't too shabby, either. Are you really expecting a fluke season (49 turnovers that made up for a pathetic offense) will be the norm? Not to mention that was a really easy schedule as we only played 2 ranked teams all year. Both of which kicked our ass. Quote Link to comment
