HuskerShark
Anybody hear this rumor? Saw it on tschu's status. Can anybody put it to rest or confirm it? Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
Heard it. Rumor is he rolled his ankle in practice, but will try to play today. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
If this true FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU lady luck!!!! Why is it that every year the position we feel we have the most depth at is the one that ends up getting decimated. Quote Link to comment
MT949597
From what I heard sounds like Braylon is getting the start today due to an Ameer injury. If this ends up being the case don't sell Braylon short. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
With Martinez already nursing a sore ankle, Kenny Bell knocked out of last week's game (briefly), Ameer gimpy and Heard coming off some time away due to injury, this isn't looking great for the offense. Anyone hear anything about Rex's status for this game? Is it possible he plays? Quote Link to comment

ADS
He's fine, Chris Whitney just confirmed he saw Ameer at practice Thursday looking healthy as can be. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Good to hear he is 100%. With MSU reported defense, we will probably lean heavily on all 3. Would love to see some Jano and Cross at the same time to really pound those guys. Would like to see us go up tempo and gas their D, unless of course their O grinds it out and we are not getting 3 and outs. Saw a comment from Beck that seems to be that he sees the bigger picture of the O and D working together. ie D getting gas slow it down and eat clock. Learning and improving. Nice to see. If the sprain can actually get "worse" and lead to complications or complicate his projected recovery I hope he sits until he is really 100%. For all the good AA and Co are doing Rex is, IMO, the heart and soul of the O. Quote Link to comment

That would definitely be the perfect combo for when we get to first and goal. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Sean Callahan said that AA might have an injury and that NU fans might see a lot more of Heard. Don't ask for a link, its on HOL Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
I love Ameer but if he sits, I feel fine rolling with Heard and Cross. We have 4 VERY good RB's and i feel pretty comfortable with that stable. Michigan states defense is very good, so having more horses is a benefit, but I have faith! Quote Link to comment
