Ameer hurt?

Recommended Posts

With Martinez already nursing a sore ankle, Kenny Bell knocked out of last week's game (briefly), Ameer gimpy and Heard coming off some time away due to injury, this isn't looking great for the offense.

Anyone hear anything about Rex's status for this game? Is it possible he plays?

a perfect storm - time for the defense to step up and rep those blackshirts.

Good to hear he is 100%. With MSU reported defense, we will probably lean heavily on all 3. Would love to see some Jano and Cross at the same time to really pound those guys. Would like to see us go up tempo and gas their D, unless of course their O grinds it out and we are not getting 3 and outs.

Saw a comment from Beck that seems to be that he sees the bigger picture of the O and D working together. ie D getting gas slow it down and eat clock. Learning and improving. Nice to see.

If Rex is close to 100% and the only injury would be "increased" soreness I hope he goes. He is a bull in a china shop. If the sprain can actually get "worse" and lead to complications or complicate his projected recovery I hope he sits until he is really 100%. For all the good AA and Co are doing Rex is, IMO, the heart and soul of the O.

That would definitely be the perfect combo for when we get to first and goal.
