mel4red
It's cold and very windy. Not going to improve by game time. We better have a solid run game plan and safe effective passes. This cold and T-Magic's propensity for fumbling have me a bit concerned. HANG ON TO THE ROCK HUSKERS!! Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
The one thing that Nebraska HAS to do in order to win this game is to remember...don't turn north onto I-35 this year. That is the direction you used to go when you played in a real football conference. That is also the way to go if you want to have your butt kicked on Friday by the only real BCS college football team in the state who, incidently, will be playing in the main event on Friday after your little televised scrimmage has warmed up the crowd. If the Huskers want to win on Friday they need to continue past Des Moines on I-80 heading east until they see the guard towers and razor wire that surround Nile Kinnick Stadium and Work Release Center then turn in and follow the directions of any homeless meth addict to the stadium. You will be in Iowa City this year...whose name is an oxymoron along the lines of Jumbo Shrimp...and playing a team whose fans are oxymorons without the oxy... Iowa State is an awful football program. Somebody should save Paul Rhoades and get him to a program that doesn't make him want to find out what his flock tastes like. Quote Link to comment

I got up this morning to put out my Husker flag and about froze to death when I stepped outside. Wasn't prepared for that after the past two days! We'll be fine............ Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
Offense: No turnovers and utilize Husker speed! Work the edges if possible. Play action & trap if they cheat. Iowa is physical but slow. See MSU! Defense: Play tough up the middle. LB's must tackle well. DB's play sound. Pocket passer = green light for Martin. Not sure if this is the game for Meredith to play tackle? Play bigger guys in the middle. Play more base. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Defensively, force Weissman east and west. Completely different back if he can't get going straight ahead. Cover the TEs. Until Vandenberg prices he can hit his WRs(this didn't happen until 8 minutes to goin their Michigan game). They actually are decent at that position, I'd take Fedorowitz on my team. Just stay the course for the game and continue to get stronger as a unit and the defense will be fine. I think Paul was looking at Black Friday deals while posting. Quote Link to comment
craigsker
Well, if you believe what Bo would say, he would say "execute." Seriously though, Nebraska needs to stay focused and not look ahead. Look at this as a one game season, hold onto the ball, and limit or even eliminate fumbles. Quote Link to comment
Goal-line
Halftime, 7-3 Iowa leads and we are playing like crap. Only one fired up is Martin. Anyone what to think ahead to Wisconsin now? Quote Link to comment

I think we are playing pretty much like we have all year ... it's not "crappy" ... this is the way we win games now. Quote Link to comment
