lo country
Per Twitter, Looks like Stein and Jackson will both be out next week against Wisky. Both left on crutches. Not good. Two guys we could ill afford to lose. https://twitter.com/HuskerExtraSip Quote Link to comment
knapplc
This has been reported in several places, including by Bo at the post-game presser. Sucks. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
This could mean Wisconsin will rush for 300+ on us. Meredith and Rome are not the scariest pair in the middle. I'm hopeful Bo will find some brilliant adjustment and we'll find a way to win. On paper, though, losing Baker hurts badly against a power rushing team like UW. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
With Baker being out, we are going to have to have someone step up big time. Jackson hurts us as well, but I am sure Mark Pelini and Pensick will do just fine, whoever gets the start. Quote Link to comment
okaive
our guys did real well without stien. I am sure they will figure something out by Sat. Quote Link to comment
beanman
Am I the only one who thought our D-Line was better without Baker? Come on guys we've got several others who can step in without missing a beat. Jackson is a bigger loss. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Offensive line play was atrocious today, but this will sting on both sides. Not good to hear. Quote Link to comment
craigsker
No mishandling of the ball between Mark Pelini and Taylor so hopefully that shouldn't be a problem next week. Someone needs to step up in the absence of Steinkuhler. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
The injury to Stein I'd huge. Watch film, it its a HUGE loss. Especially against Wisconsin and their running game Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Oh well, sorry to hear that, but someone needs to step up and fill their position. Time to show what you can do boys! Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Baker may be gone for the bowl game also. I hope this injury doesn't hurt his draft status. Where was Pensick today? Is he hurt? Quote Link to comment

NebraskaHarry
Pensick injury hurts us more than Bakers. With that said I thought Mark Pelini did well filling in. So they've got a week to work that position out. As for Baker.. I dunno. It sucks he's hurt and won't play, buuuuuut I'm not worried about who fills in. If this was Compton or Stafford or Martin or Evans, I'd be more worried. Quote Link to comment

lo country
What about Peat. I know he had back issues, but I thought he was healthy, just not in "football" shape. Any chance he plays at all? Is he injured again? Quote Link to comment
