QMany
This really is not a big loss for the conference. Really? Rittenberg/Bennett @ESPN_BigTen Huge black eye for the Big Ten after a miserable season. Coach of 3-time champ shouldn't be leaving for a second-rate SEC job. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
I guess the question is, with all the money the SEC is swimming in now, plus all the facilities upgrades and program expansion going on with that, what jobs are truly second-rate now in the SEC? Other than Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Vandy, and Mizzery, are there truly any "second rate" SEC jobs? Quote Link to comment

I'll be dead in the ground before I take what Rittenberg or Bennett say seriously. Is he a good coach? yeah. but he's far, far, far from irreplaceable. Bielema ain't no Alvarez. I bet he falls flat in R-Kansas. Quote Link to comment
Husker John
I wonder if Barry Alvarez saw this coming ? Quote Link to comment
qchris1
Bret Bielema accepted the Arkansas job. Quote Link to comment
Comish
I don't get the negativity..........Arky has shown they can compete with anyone with the right coach........and even though I don't care much personally for Bielema, he has proven he can coach (and doesn't mind getting a little bit of mud on him.) SoCal Husker Terry
Pretty surprising to say the least. Maybe he is going down there because he knows that playing dirty will fit in perfectly in the SEC... Quote Link to comment
Branno
Good riddance. He's a douche. I hope he enjoys a life of mediocracy in the sec. Quote Link to comment
