But at 6'5"?

Kid could easily gain 15 lbs by summer, then add another 15-20 over summer w our workout program in his lap. That puts him conservatively 230 w 4.7 speed. Not at all impossible. Even at 220 that's pretty good for an incoming freshman.

He's rangy, quick, long, and has a nose for the ball.

Catching TD passes, jump blocking FG, sacking QBs, blowing up misdirections w one foot planted, and just being everywhere.

I like the looks of this guy

Rivals says he's now at 220 so that's a little better. Apparently he is a pretty good basketball player but now thinks his future is in football so he quit his AAU team and hit the weight room.

Also, we appear to be looking at him for the increasingly talked about hybrid position so he might be expected to be a bit undersized for a traditional DE.

Has an OV to Wisconsin set up for Sept. 6. Looking to take OVs to NU, WV and Minny. Told him we'd try to set him up for a night game for travel purposes.

The BIG needs to get with the times and allow night games in November. Lack of night games hurts our recruiting, In terms of the con tv is the biggest driving force in cfb now and Saturday nights slots are prime real estate. Taking a pass on said real estate is just dumb. Doesn't help that the con lacks foresight and backloads sched for top teams to where the big games can't be played at night. Both us and Mich have backloaded conference scheds.

Delaney has said publicly that if a pair of Big 10 teams wanted their game at night in November and they had the network that wanted to nab it, the conference would probably not stand in the way. I think this was said prior to last year.
