motorboatjonesNU
Bell's insane one-handed grab for a TD v. Illinois (10/5/13) is simply the best catch I've seen by a Husker WR. And I've been around to see Irving Fryar. 2. Davison v. Missouri '97 3. Purify vs aTm '06 4. Nate Swift vs Clemson '08 Any others? Quote Link to comment
HuskersNC949597
Bobby Newcombe's 1-handed catch on the sideline against OU should probably be ranked above a few of those. 1 Quote Link to comment

HuskerUnity
Purify's catch against A&M? A simple underthrown fade route? What's impressive about that? The timing and sheer height of the jump, and the fact that it was a game winning catch Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
Purify's catch against A&M? A simple underthrown fade route? What's impressive about that? especially when you have a 6 inch height advantage on the defender. That one was pretty fundemantal actually. Quote Link to comment

Was he able to re-establish himself inbounds long enough before the catch? Is what I'm guessing he was getting at. Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
The impressive thing about Bell's catch is that he went up over the middle and was exposed to a shot from any of four defenders around him. Fortunately he had split the middle of them, but a lot of guys would've alligator-armed it. That said, his catch will be largely forgotten by next year, while Davison's will last as long as there is Nebraska football. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
I got to put Davison vs Missouri 97 at the top. Saved the season and great heads up play. Quote Link to comment
