True2tRA
I wasn't at the game last Saturday, but I've been to a few cold ones in Memorial. Nothing I've been to quite looked that miserable. I know having played in that kind of cold before that everything hurts like hell in those games. Especially your hands. Still, this is what I pictured some of these late November games would look like. Heck, they might even get a little nastier. Good old tough man football. May the best man win. Those games take guts. Lots of folks hate when the elements affect a game. Me, I always thought the elements are part of the game and can actually add to the excitement. I realize there is a flip side to that though, the fans that would much rather sit in that heated dome environment down in Texas all year. I was just curious if anyone else appreciated that new aspect of playing in the Big Ten the way I did? It sounded like Kenny Bell thought it was neat. Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
Football is meant to be played in the elements. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
It was an awesome atmosphere for a football game. Doesn't get any better than Nebraska and Penn State, slugging it out under the lights and in the snow in late November. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
The Super Bowl in New York/NJ (whereever the hell it is) will be the best thing since sliced bread. Quote Link to comment

louisianared
Love it. Football the way it was meant to be played Quote Link to comment
NUance
Sure I enjoyed it. From the warmth of a local bar. It even gave me a craving for Irish Coffee. 1 Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
I went to the Gophers-Badgers game. I could not drink my beer fast enough at halftime before is started to turn to slush at the bottom. I think I still have the chills from sitting out there that long. It was fun but I am not sure I would enjoy enduring that every year. I hope Vikings fans are prepared for it for the next 2 years. Quote Link to comment

Stu
Weather is actually one of the reasons I hate baseball. If they would actually play in the elements, I might tune in. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I loved it. I wish southern teams would come up north in November. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Love me a good cold snow game. Maybe not so much if I'm in attendance but definitely love watching them on TV. Domes and warm weather climates are for sissies.. Quote Link to comment

It's been too funny watching the media throw a collective hissy fit over a cold weather Super Bowl Quote Link to comment
