oh god. these are 200-300lb MEN, not little kids. Grow the "F" up. Poor kids get a $200k education and treated like gods in Lincoln. Its SOOOOO rough. Its no wonder our team lacks any sort toughness with excuses like this. This is big boy football, if you cant handle it, go play tennis.

Youre in the wrong thread. I have no doubts.

They sacrifice their very well being to play for us and you could care less. These fine young men deserve more respect than you seem to think. Seriously just shame on you.

They don't play for us. They play for their own enjoyment and the hope of getting paid at the next level.

A 4-year NU education is nowhere near $200K.

Out-of-state and room&board would be close to that number

This is true. They are afforded a very special opportunity because of the devoted following Nebraska football has. It's a double-edged sword. There are plenty of other walks in life. Being in the spotlight is never easy, and while crazy fan behavior shouldn't be excused, some coaches instill a better ability to handle this productively than others.

The players who chose to come here deserve our respect. They put their well being on the line to play the game and those who chose to play for Nebraska, for us, deserve to be respected.
