SODAKSKERSFAN20
Is Kaz 100% gone from NU? I would think he is but I haven't heard anything lately Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Is Kaz 100% gone from NU? I would think he is but I haven't heard anything lately DL is one of the strongest position groups, and one where true growth of the players have occurred. Add in the fact that Kaz is solid recruiting, I would say Riley should take a long look at Kaz before moving on. Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
I think it's best Kaz goes. He's too close to Bo Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
Kaz is gone. Like you said, him being at the meeting with Bo, means he is with Bo. I would LOL if Kaz went to Youngstown and the Davis twins followed him there. These kids need to realize what Kaz and Bo stood for at the end of the day, by taking a listen to "The Meeting". Yeah, I thought of that, but Kaz is his own man whose body of work at Nebraska deserves its own evaluation. We are obviously not close enough to the situation to know if Kaz off the field would be a good fit for the program going forward, but he has my vote, in terms, of his recruiting ability, player development, and player performance. ScottyIce
It's funny because Warren was so new, he was probably the only guy on staff that has a us vs them mentality. I think it probably means the rumor about Kaz freaking out, is 100% true. Sorry, this is probably supposed to be in the BO leaked audio thread. Quote Link to comment

There is no doubt about his coaching/recruiting ability but the fact that he was at that meeting says all I need to hear about his fit at NU any longer. Quote Link to comment

I like Kaz too and wouldn't mind him staying. However I think a lot of people could look good coaching: 2 future top 10 picks (RG and Collins), another future NFL DT (VV) and probably a guy that finds a himself a spot in the NFL (McMullen). Just sayin. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
That being said, these twins could be the next line of NFL guys to come into the program. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Kaz is gone. Not only because his loyalty lies with Bo, but there also was a rumor going around after Bo was fired that he was bad mouthing the university to recruits. It was on another board I read. Quote Link to comment
Redmusky
I think the Davis boys stay with the huskers, I think the tape will only help MS in keeping this class together Quote Link to comment

Not only because his loyalty lies with Bo, but there also was a rumor going around after Bo was fired that he was bad mouthing the university to recruits. It was on another board I read. I don't know how credible those rumors are. Then again, the whole "expletive-laced rant" turned out to be true, so who knows?!?! In any case, both Kaz and Beck stand out as good coaches (moreso Kaz, maybe, in his DL role) who unfortunately have adopted a little too much of Bo's message for me to really have confidence in them staying here. Beck with the "who has a good relationship with the fans?" and Kaz with some similar comments last year. I can't dig up the articles now, but from a few of the times they spoke, it revealed their mindset about this whole thing. And that was basically the whole issue with Bo, who himself is an enormously talented coach. If they can't help but continue that then it needs to be addition by subtraction. Quote Link to comment
