skersfan
I think it has been mentioned a time or two. Taylor's sometimes looked like they have been played with on concrete I heard. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I had no idea the wear on our balls was such an issue! Not saying it's a dumb one, but the entire last four years I don't think I heard anything about it. I'd say more of an oddity than an issue. Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 31mOne thing that caught my eye Monday was Maliek Collins (6-2, 300) playing some snaps at DE. Put a big move on a OT and went untouched to QB. Thought ever seen Moss news that this could happen. Collins at DE at that size? Wow, that could be interesting. Still, I'd like to have a rush end aside from Gregory, otherwise teams will just go away from Gregory constantly. We need a speed threat at the opposite end as well. Quote Link to comment

I highly doubt it's an every down move. Just an option in certain situations I think. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Here's a good article detailing what a ball goes through before Eli Manning will use it. He won't touch a new ball. Link So that's how he throws a million interceptions. Quote Link to comment

It would be something nice to throw in on film and in games to make the DC's plan for more. <img class="UMSRatingIcon" id="ums_img_tooltip" /> Quote Link to comment
Landlord
They'd point it out during almost every televised game This is a huge over-exaggeration. There's no way it was a topic on more than 25% of our games over the last 4 years max. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
It was pointed out in quite a few games over the years. I think Jessie Palmer laughed at it but couldn't knock it. They always had one in studio and never mentioned them being slick. Quote Link to comment

They always had one in studio and never mentioned them being slick. Armstrong said they were tough to grip. I'll go with his opinion. “Last year they were kind of bulky and stuff like that, it was kind of hard to grip the balls and stuff like that,” he said. http://hailvarsity.c...with-armstrong/ I'd think a ball that's tough to grip would lead to more fumbles. Good thing we don't have an issue w/ those... Quote Link to comment

He's just had a hell of a time with injuries. I hope he's alright. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Brian Christopherson @HuskerExtraBC 7m Bo: "All his movement, all his feeling, everything was fine," but you need to be extra cautious when the injury concerns the neck area. Quote Link to comment
