Thanks_Tom RR
Chew on this for a second. He said Nebraska is "a great place, with great fans and great coaches." But Ole Miss impressed his mom. http://m.journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/turns-out-stringfellow-s-fresh-start-will-be-at-ole/article_78d1f5fc-ae6f-5e32-b9b4-d2cddfc410cb.html?mobile_touch=true I guess he also visited Alabama last week as another place to possibly transfer. C N Red
Dude is a ticking time bomb. I'd say chances are better he never plays for Ole Miss than he does. He's gonna have a whole year where he doesn't have to worry about playing in games. Dude will f#*k up, it's almost a given. It was one reason I was kind of leary of him coming here. He says Alabama is all business and that is not what he is about. If that's what he really said, then by god, he can get steppin. We dont need him. And I certainly dont want him anywhere near our proud program. I know Bo's trying to take that next step and all, but with an attitude like that, you can bet your ass he wouldnt be one bit better than what we have or will get in the future. Add that to the baggage he's obviously going to bring along. Quote Link to comment
TAKODA
Well; if his mom is impressed with Ole Miss, then let the kid follow what his mom wants him to do/be/have. I am not saying this to be a smart butt however, that might just be why he has the issues he has? Quote Link to comment
ADS
At his age he should be able to make his own decisions without mom trying to make them for him. She might just be trying to find the best place to keep him out of trouble since his last incident. But if he's not truly all in with Ole Miss than I feel bad for him. Quote Link to comment
Dr. Strangelove
So, let me get this straight: we've been building a relationship with this recruit for several years, was widely considered (by his own admission) to be his second favorite school after Washington... he signed papers to transfer here after spending several days communicating with various UNL officials about letting him attend the University, while also calling into several local radio shows explaining how excited he was to be a part of our football team. Instead he decides to transfer to a school that barely recruited him out of high school after his first official visit? It's pretty obvious what happened here. Quote Link to comment
