knapplc
I usually pay about as much attention to CBS Sports as I do the opinions of K-State fans, but I caught this on the Twitter and clicked it, thinking it might be related to the old Bottom Ten column by Steve Harvey of the Los Angeles Times back in the day. Sadly, it's CBS' own version, which isn't nearly as funny. But it was interesting to read the write-up on the 6th-rankd FAU Owls: LINK 6. FAU 0-2 (13) Average Score: 3.5-48.0 Best Win: None Worst Loss: 55-7 at Nebraska This Week: vs. Tulsa Would you look at that average score? The only thing keeping FAU from rocketing to the top three, and maybe even the top spot, is that both of their opponents (Nebraska, Alabama) are 2-0 on the season, helping FAU's SOS. A loss to Tulsa this week, though? Well that will make a statement the entire world will hear. But wait - there's more! Not only was our first opponent a Top Ten Bottom Ten team, our third opponent is, too: 5. Fresno State 0-2 (20) Average Score: 20.0-55.5 Best Win: None Worst Loss: 59-27 at Utah This Week: vs. Nebraska Where have you gone, Derek Carr? Seriously, Oakland isn't that long of a drive from Fresno. Fresno is a top five team, and it's a top five team largely thanks to its scheduling practices. Starting your season against USC, Utah and Nebraska is a great way to ensure a good start to your Bottom 25 season. Better not lay an egg against Fresno State. Quote Link to comment

admo
Toss in McNeese, Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers, a lousy Miami team, plus a dreadful Northwestern group and this should be a very simple road to quite of few wins. Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Northwestern checks in at 15, Quote Link to comment

1201NH
Huskers have four opponents in the current bottom 25, two are Conference foes. Guaranteed that McNeese St. is a better team than each of them. Quote Link to comment

Our Huskers made Bottom Ten list? Hopefully not. UPDATE LINK: Michigan and NW (waiting list) made The Bottom Ten. No Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
