It'sNotAFakeID
Yeah I don't like the decision to not force them to convert or they have to punt. Why? Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
Better than last week, which is what matters most to me. Quote Link to comment
deedsker
QB draw is good when less than 6 or 7 yards to go. But coo-koo when it's 3rd and 11 It's not in any way cookoo. If the defense is backed up enough you might be able to get it, but the call is for field position. Now Fresno is at the 10 yard line with 50 seconds to go, and had to take their last timeout. A draw is a very typical playcall for this situation. Exactly. It is a cop out for getting yards and making the other team use timeouts. Plus there is the slightest chance of getting a first down if the other team is in man coverage. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
I think it's important to remember that it is 98 degrees there right now. 98°?!?! They're so dreamy!... Like my 4th favorite boy band. Quote Link to comment
Beez
At least thats what I watched. This crap is BS. Quote Link to comment
wiby_NU
I'm curious. What play call should Beck make that ensures the line will block? A screen..It requires zero blocking at the line of scrimmage..problems may occur when they reach the linebackers and secondary Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Uh, don't see how a team down 27-5 is in control of the game, but, alright. Did they really say that? It doesn't really bother me what announcers say, but you'd think they would attempt to sound smart. By not making ridiculous statements Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Yeah I don't like the decision to not force them to convert or they have to punt. Why? The way our return team has been working....course I get that it's hot and guys are gassed... Quote Link to comment

QB draw is typical, when you want to get into the locker room Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
Shouldn't be that way. When I was young, we pushed them around...Army Husker Ah yes, the whole, "back in the olden days" derp. Quote Link to comment
Beez
IV bags need to be free-flowing in the locker room during half time... You sure you can handle this game Army Boy? Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Anyone wonder who our #1 and #2 WRs are? KBell and Westy are the only WRs with catches in the first half. Quote Link to comment
Ulty
Okay, so I'm sitting on my couch in my pajamas, listening to a football game on the radio and reading Huskerboard after midnight on a Saturday night/Sunday morning (eastern time zone). F##k it, I'm getting some cold pizza from the fridge and opening another beer. 1 Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
I'm almost wonder if it's possible for Tim Beck to do something right. And that's not a thought about his abilities, it's a thought about perceptions of his ability. No need ro over think it or to get deep. Sometimes perception is reality. Beck has brought on the perception by screwing the pooch on innumerable play calls. He has well earned the doubters. Quote Link to comment
