Paul in WI
do we have a sports psychologist on staff? I've been asking why we don't for the last 5 years. We had one in the 90's--in addition to a HC with a Dr in Psychology. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
didn't here Bo say the magic word "execution", signs of good things to come? "need to execute" comment just before half. We're screwed Quote Link to comment
irafreak
This is how the game feels to me. We're the big dog with the obvious advantages but the little scrapper starts fighting.... Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Is anyone complaining about Beck if we catch the freaking ball and Tommy completes on a simple screen pass? Not saying he's been stellar but he's not the reason we're behind. Outside of the penalty line really hasn't been bad either, hardly dominant but Tommy has usually had time. NW does have a good defense. You aren't going to gouge them when you have the mistakes we've had. 1 Quote Link to comment

Redmusky
do we have a sports psychologist on staff? I hope the fans should have one Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Outside of Illinois and Michigan, you'd be hard pressed to find a worse coaching staff than ours in the conference. I'm starting to believe it. Word Other than Hoke...no other staff has done so little with so much talent. Quote Link to comment
Micheal
Knock their qb outta this game. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Beck's offense is just fine. We have the plays and the playmakers to make this offense work. Total Offense - we're 10th in the country Passing Yards Per Completion - we're 6th in the country Rushing Offense - we're 5th in the country Scoring Offense - we're 12th in the country We HAVE the plays, we HAVE the playmakers. Beck's offense works. What we lack, at the most inopportune times, is consistency. Kenny Bell doesn't drop passes - unless it's a critical time. Tommy Armstrong doesn't miss a wide-open receiver - unless it's a critical time. Ameer doesn't get tackled for no gain - unless it's a critical time. What this team seems unable to do is rise to the moment. It takes them forever to get out of their own way - and as good as Beck's offense is, that's how bad his preparation is. Everything works. Year Seven, we're still battling the demon between our own ears more than anything. And that's what sucks. Quote Link to comment
