On the bright side, if it wasn't for penalties, poor tackling, dropped balls, our o-line being pushed around, our defensive backfield not coving well, poor playcalling on o and d, a missed field goal, and a qb that completes 40% of his passes; we are doing quite well.

This is horrible....this staff must be on the verge of losing their jobs if you're looking at it from the view of an administrator. What happened to the team that started the season....manhandled Miami and spanked Fresno?

IMO, they have the feelers out there.........No way can they be satisfied or not be prepared if the apparent "collapse" continues. Again, not just this game, but year 7 of the same mediocre perfomarmace, lack or preparation etc....

 

Baring a total collapse, there will not be a change. "Better" jobs will be open early, and there will not be quality candidates looking to come here this year.

Vertical. yes. He can't hit the out routes or the flats reliably enough to be a threat.

Guys, we're gonna have to throw the ball. I know many of you want to line up and run Northwestern over. Ain't gonna happen if we don't spread the defenders out. That means Tommy is gonna have to learn to go through his progressions and make accurate throws. It also means our WR's need to be on the same page.

 

But it's inexcusable how our coaches can't put together a game plan. Beck is awful. I mean awful. He has no clue what he's doing. Regardless of what happens after this game, I'm calling him out. Needs to be fired. Let go. Gone. Take Barney Cotton with him out the door too.

It amazes me that Beck is unable to call plays to get/keep AA involved...TA sucks donkey balls at making basic throws and the OL will NEVER get better with the clowns coaching them...it is obvious since they continue to go down hill year after year!

NW is no National Champion, but I'm talking more about our execution and focus. We looked pretty good then.....now we look inept most of the time.
