knapplc
For a guy who is so well respected around coaching and media circles, he knows NOBODY on the staff? That struck me as odd, too. You'd think he'd have a pretty full Rolodex by now. Quote Link to comment
onlyHskrfaninIL
he is a fidgety dude. i like that he just said "jerry's world" lol Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
Will talk to current staff. Talked to Barney last night and he was very helpful. It's hard for the current guys - they're invested here and coaching a game. Could blend current staff into his staff. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 1 Quote Link to comment
alexhortdog95
Searching for that opportunity to win championships?!? Oyyyyyyyyy Veyyyyyyy..... Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Why should people have confidence that Riley can get it done here? The preparation for football, and the ability to recruit and fit in the talent of his team will give them a great opportunity to win. Always trying to prep yourself to win. They've been on the brink of doing that at OSU - going to the Rose Bowl, but fell just short. Really punting on this question. Quote Link to comment
BigRedPowerWagon
Wow, media is asking all the right questions. Quote Link to comment

You'd think he'd have a pretty full Rolodex by now. Yeah...I think he has been pretty isolated...but it still something that kind of bugs me a bit... 1. Really well respected but might not know a lot of guys 2. Might be bringing most/all of his old staff 3. Offense is a hodgepodge/multiple Not the end of the world but just things that kind of made me go "hmmmm" Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
At the rate this guy seems to work I'm willing to bet he has all of our games watched by sunday afternoon Quote Link to comment
Judoka
For a guy who is so well respected around coaching and media circles, he knows NOBODY on the staff? Does that speak to the obscurity of the coaching hires Pelini has made? 6 Quote Link to comment

If Bo was fired on Sunday, decision made the night before and it took till Tuesday to contact him, i dont think it's a stretch to say he wasn't choice #1 3 Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Won't commit on open practices here, but did it at Oregon State. Doesn't know the lay of the land here yet. Open practices can get unwieldy. Says he had fun at the meeting. Group of very attentive young men. Told them he was proud to be here. He knows they're facing uncertainty & will take time to get past that. Quote Link to comment
