zoogs
Part of the deal is that he has to be paid a competitive salary, I believe. I'm not sure on the details, though. Quote Link to comment
dvdcrr
Wow I would have thought he would end up in the NFL Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
Part of the deal is that he has to be paid a competitive salary, I believe. I'm not sure on the details, though. Okay, so it's the usual $260,000 that S Callahan posted. $3,000,000 minus $260,000. Quote Link to comment
BRV920
Kind of weird that Osborne and now Tressel seem to think the Bo is a pretty good coach. But what do they know they have only won 4 national championships in FBS. 4 Quote Link to comment

Okay, so it's the usual $260,000 that S Callahan posted. $3,000,000 minus $260,000.basically unl pays bo's buyout and is reimbursed by the new university for the services they receive from bo as they value its worth. in a way, bo is being subleased to the new university while still being under contract at unl. at least that is how i look at it, even though it is simpler than that. but contract law makes you evaluate situations and agreements differently sometimes. Yeah, if he was such a good coach, I would have expected other D1 Power 5 programs to be fighting over him. 1 Quote Link to comment
beanman
Sean Callahan @Sean_Callahan 7m7 minutes ago For those interested the head coach at Youngstown state made $259,700 in 2013. Assistant pay ranged from $47,000 to $97,000. Yikes for assistants. Quote Link to comment
