Warrior10
Staff offered Englehaupt tonight because they found out one of the guys isn't committing tomorrow... If we go 1/4 on Chase Allen, Dez Fitzpatrick, Lamar Jackson, and Isaiah Simmons then I would call that a lack of closing and a problem getting the job done.I would agree. Quote Link to comment

But when I said that two weeks ago I was told to wait till signing day. So I'll continue to wait and hope for the best. 1 Quote Link to comment
FrustratedHuskerFan
I like how all of our momentum crashed and burned, per usual. Just in different ways from the past regimes. 1 Quote Link to comment

This is there first full year and believe this is a much better class then in the past. Too many think its the end of the world. Quote Link to comment

It's not the end of the world at all, but it's not necessarily what we needed. I'm pretty optimistic for next year's class and do really like some of the pieces we grabbed this year. 1 Quote Link to comment

The staff really missed on each and every DL recruit they went after all the way down to plan Z. They failed at recruiting TEs, they probably needed 2-3 this class and seem to be scrambling at this point. While better than the previous 2 classes, the bar wasn't exactly set high. The first full class by HCMR is in B- to B territory. Just above average, solid pieces, but not enough solid pieces to make me think we're going to win the conference in the near future. The players in the program simply aren't good enough. 2 Quote Link to comment

We got 1 good TE and maybe a plan B from NE. Yes, we went to plan B on rush DE but both look like very good prospects. If we get Jackson, our DB class will also look good. I would like to see tall WR to round out the class if we not get Simmons. Quote Link to comment

They said that 30% of Bo's classes did not make it to school, got kicked off the team or left after year 1. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
They also said that Stanford, Wisconsin & Northwester were the best at 4 to 5%; college was 15-18%. Quote Link to comment

I went back to his last classes and its true. We averaged 15 recruits per class that stayed. Thats probably why we have so many walk-ons with schollies. Quote Link to comment
