Chandler is considered to be one of the top Juco CBs in the country, so he would be an excellent addition to the team.

Ryan Held, a former Huskers walk-on WR in the 90's, is his HC at NE Oklahoma A&M. It sounds like Nebraska's recruitment of Chandler (and his teammate LB Chris Bacchus) has been spurred on by Held.

This could be the olive branch to getting into a JUCO program with relatively close proximity to Nebraska and decent prospect production, DE Austin Roberts last year before academics came into play.

Seems like 8 out of 10 direct match ups with ASU go their way. Still plenty of other potentials out there. Curious to see how many we take with all of the rumors of more attrition out there.

Well considering most Nebraska Recruiting analysts made CB predictions for him on 247 sports and we were the favorites for awhile when he decommitted from OU. Not the least bit surprise he chose ASU.

Exactly. That was one of the things that they were saying would change with the hire. We really need some momentum to finish off this class. This was the position of biggest need too. Well CB, OT and DE are the 3 biggest needs.
