wanderful
I remember someone on here was on about wanting to go back to the black shoes a la the mid-90s 'skers teams. Noticed Armstrong was wearing black shoes during the spring game, and I was surprised that I actually thought it looked pretty good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8BHclCE80U?t=1h9m36s Quote Link to comment

C N Red
Getting fleeced by Adidas. UCLA - Adidas - $7.5M/yr Cal - UA - $8.6M/yr Indiana - Adidas - $6.7M/yr Neuter Dame - UA - Reported ~ $9.0+M/yr Kansas - Adidas - $6.4M/yr Michigan - Nike - $15.4M/yr Nebraska - Adidas - $6.2M/yr Indiana and Kansas make more than we do. Sure, it isn't much more but really? I think we need to pressure Adidas when time comes in a couple years and tell them we need to be the highest paid Adidas school or we're out. The Michigan contract with Nike is just ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
What is our monetary deal with Adidas? How much do we get paid by them? Thanks. The last deal signed in 2013 was a 5-year, $15.5M ($8.0M cash and $7.5M in apparel and equipment) deal. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/nebraska-extends-deal-with-adidas/article_84b7681e-e7ca-5b20-b5d9-2ca6bf74254f.html Quote Link to comment

I saw that Cal just signed with Under Armour. That's some major cash. It looks like Adidas likes throw money at their "basketball schools" so that's why KU, UCLA, and Indiana are making more than Nebraska. Quote Link to comment

The Michigan contract with Nike is just ridiculous. I would think BBall is a bigger driver than FB in apparel and shoe sales just based on the level of endorsement contracts NBA players get vs. NFL players. Explains a lot why KU and IU have bigger annual payouts. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I'd imagine it's more because of our deal being negotiated a while ago while many of the ones ahead of us are more recent. The next time we get a new deal, whoever it's with, it's going to be worth more than the current one. 1 Quote Link to comment

Most of the schools listed ahead of us have newer deals since then. Quote Link to comment
