How will TCU fair at Minnesota?

TCU can be beat. Just glancing back their 2014 schedule it looks like they survived a couple close games with mediocre teams. LINK They only beat Kansas by four points at home, and won by four over a 7-6 West Virginia team.

Wouldn't surprise me to see The Gophers win this one: Minny 24-17.

TCU also beat Minny 30-7, beat OU, smacked SMU, beat OSU 45-9, beat TT 82-27, beat KSU 41-20, destroyed Texas on the road, wiped the floor with ISU and dismantled Ole Miss. They also have 10 starters coming back to an offense that ranked 4th in the country, including their QB.

Even great teams sometimes have close calls against teams they shouldn't.

TCU should win by at least two scores.

TCU's quarterback, Trevone Boykin, is currently number 2 on the Heisman watch list. He also had a really darn good season last year.

Combine that with 9 other returning starters and I just don't see any way Minnesota is capable of keeping up. If this were Nebraska we were talking about, with all those returners and a Heisman QB candidate, going up against Minnesota, most here would probably have a very different outlook. ;)

Granted, anything can happen, but barring a meltdown, TCU is the vastly superior team here.
