Mavric
This team has the talent to be 3-0. True. But the mindset? Like we did last year? Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Coaching, definitely. And the team not accepting coaching. This coaching staff is not above criticism. I just don't think it's time to call for their heads 2 3/4 games into their tenure. 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
We don't have anywhere near the talent on this team that we had in 2008. .... on defense. There was not much for offensive talent on the 08 team. Joe Ganz Roy Helu Marlon Lucky Quentin Castille Meno Holt Nate Swift Todd Peterson Mike McNeill RB is the only spot that has noticeably more talent. Ganz may have a slight edge over TA in terms of talent but not by a lot. I love the Swift-Peterson-McNeill trio but there is no way they are more talented than Westerkamp-DPE-Carter. The offenses are nearly identical. A little bit here, a little bit there, the only difference. Basically a tossup. Should we compare defenses? Because that's where the HUGE difference is, and it's not even close. Hence the odd votes for 2015, because that 2008 team would demolish this team. 1 Quote Link to comment

commando
1 score down...who would have thought we could be that close at this point after reading this thread? Quote Link to comment

It's hard to tell how much talent there is on defense when they are constantly put it terrible positions. 1 Quote Link to comment
74Hunter
1 score down...who would have thought we could be that close at this point after reading this thread? Miami let off the gas. Quote Link to comment
74Hunter
Apparently we got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more talented in the last 11 minutes of this game. Quote Link to comment
commando
lost to BYU on a hail mary...and lose to miami on a fg that bounces off the upright and in for the win in overtime. Our coaches sure don't have the good luck that BO had. Quote Link to comment
Dr. Strangelove
Miami left points on the field, Armstrong played his tail off until OT. Nebraska had a lot of holes to fill. Quote Link to comment
huskered17
Did we find players to play cb or did D- coach figure out a few things. I do know they should never start Davie again. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
I see Knapp is trying to find a few more excuses at the bottom of his excuse bag. 2 Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
Nice job fighting but miami could have stepped on our throats long before if Al golden wasn't a droopy eyed armless child. It's pretty apparent why miami wants him fired. There were touchdowns left out there all over the place. We should have given up at least 50. 1 Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
And more importantly for today, Miami had way more talent. Faster and stronger, no question. Funny how that makes a difference in a football game. 1 Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Don't judge the meals he makes with Bo Pelini's groceries. Pelini's home cooking beat Miami by 10 points... 1 Quote Link to comment
