Timotheus
looks like the QB defended himself by throwing at the rusher Quote Link to comment
lo country
Is the Rutger's O really bad, have our coaches adjusted, or do we have more healthy players. Why is the D doing so well today? We are playing improved D but we're also playing against a bad O. Carroo is their one noteworthy player and he's playing on one leg. They really are bad. A win is a win though. One more and we are 500, more important though we go to a bowl and have an opportunity to win the game with a four game winning streak. That makes for a much better off season than finishing with a losing record. Absolutely. Momentum to practice, recruit and get the seniors a bowl game. Go out on a high note. Quote Link to comment
Branno
No intentional grounding? I guess you can't call it after the fact. Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
That's on the secondary, great pressure from the D line. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Of course that happens. #Banker Quote Link to comment
Norhusker
Naturally they make a great play on third down. Quote Link to comment
Husker67
Nice win, but Rutgers is really bad Who cares if they are bad? It is a game we should be winning! So was Purdue, so was Illinois Quote Link to comment
AFhusker
As much as we live and die by TA, and I hate that, he's all we got, he goes down and we're screwed against Iowa and probably this game. I doubt we lose to Purdue if he's in there during that game to be honest. There is no doubt in my mind that we beat Purdue by 20+ points if TA plays the Purdue game.No doubt in my mind we beat Purdue of we just RUN THE DAMNED BALL. Coaching cost us that game. Not Fyfe.Oh dear lord, you are freaking GD ridiculous. And you are foolish if you are going to blame the players and completely absolve this coaching staff. Purdue has the worst running defense in the NCAA. So what do we do? Throw the ball all game. And today, we are going into the wind and go to air raid mode with a 21 point lead at the end of a half. Yeah, those INts are on the coaches. You obviously have no f'ing clue what you are talking about. No INT is ever on a coach, players either make or don't execute the plays that are called. Execution is on the players, not the coaches.According to you nothing is ever on these coaches. Are you related to Riley? But dude seriously, you don't have any problem with the play calls to end the half? These coaches are consistently putting the players in a position to fail. I have seen things that I haven't liked, the largest being the first half play at Miami. But I see TA leading us to a -12 turnover margin as the reason why we are where we are right now. I see our biggest problems being bad OL and DL play (especially the DE's) and bad secondary play with the new system. Throw in a lack of depth and then you have a team that needs some very good recruiting from this point forward to get back where we want to be. Quality depth would have been huge for us this year. lol...I am not related to Riley. I just see a team that has a lot of limitations that have cost us a lot of close games. No I got it wrong. The way you avoided the question I asked you definitely are in the Eichorst family. I answered your question, you apparently can't comprehend. I have an idea of how to make your Saturday's more enjoyable. Stop with the agenda and enjoy a Nebraska win. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Yup. Prevent defense sucks. No pressure. Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
If that's ruled a throw, then that should be intentional grounding on the QB. Hit the defender so cannot be grounding. Never heard that, is that real? You can throw at a defender's legs and it's not grounding? Quote Link to comment
GOAT
In other news: Mad about a pass interference call, his team down 3 w/ ball, Pelini drew 2 unsportsmanlikes in the final 30 seconds. 1 Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Still heady play on Kalu. It is good to see them play until the whistle blows. I can't remember the game, but a few years ago an opposition defender returned a fumble for a TD while our team stood and watched. Quote Link to comment
lo country
WHY DO OUR DBS REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE CARDINAL RULE OF NEVER GET BEAT DEEP. Quote Link to comment
