lo country
Would love it if they came to Charlotte, NC for the Belk game, but that's an ACC/SEC bowl..... 1 Quote Link to comment
Tomhusker64
Any scenario that would put Texas in a bowl game? Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
So if NU finishes 3-0 with 2 wins over Top 10 teams, are they not red hot also?...... Actually, a three game winning streak doesn't carry as much weight as one might think. Quote Link to comment

skersfan
Bowls are about filling seats. Nebraska is normally a good investment for a bowl game. California has the largest contingent of Nebraska supporters outside the state of Nebraska. Oregon is just up the road. If Nebraska were to win against Iowa, it would mean that they had knocked off two top ten teams in three weeks. It would be a good draw for them I think. If the game is played, we will head up for sure. I just hope the team makes a bowl game. This one is relatively close. Quote Link to comment
SledgeMonkey
Any way the stars could align and we play Florida State? http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/14135689/college-football-bowl-projections-week-11 New Era Pinstripe BowlYankee Stadium, Bronx, New York Saturday, Dec. 26, 3:30 p.m. (ABC) Schlabach: Pittsburgh vs. Northwestern McMurphy: Florida State vs. Nebraska Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt96
Why, pray tell, would we possibly be matched up with Oregon? Surely their record is considerably better than ours and they would be in a much better bowl selection than the bottom tier with us? Nebraska will alway get picked pretty high. Record has nothing to due with it. It comes down to butts in seats & NU always travels well. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt96
I feel like Nebraska has gone to Florida a lot as well for bowls recently, and that has not helped build a recruiting pipeline in the state of Florida. Texas bowl destination would be nice. Cali would be nice as well. Quote Link to comment
The Tall Texan
Skersfan, just to be nitpicky, but I beleive that would be three straight games, not weeks. Quote Link to comment

Saunders
The B1g isn't going to pair us with a team we're playing in the non con the next 2 seasons. Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Not really excited about the prospect of playing Arkansas but I guess we shouldn't be picky. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Question for whoever said that the B10 wouldn't let us play Oregon when we play them the next two seasons... Why did someone allow us to play Washington twice in a season a few years back? Early season matchup we dominated Locker. Then lost to them in bowl game same season. Now that was silly. I wasn't on the board back then, so sorry if it was beat to death. Quote Link to comment

It was pretty suspicious that they had Missouri playing Iowa instead of Nebraska playing Iowa. There's no way that bowl thought it was a better match up. 1 Quote Link to comment
