swmohusker
Wow! Kid is very explosive. He is a playmaker for sure. Could be perfect fit for how we want our DL to penetrate and disrupt blocking schemes. Great motor and is nasty when he gets to the ball. A year for this kid to develop and add a little more technique to his game and this kid could be a force. Quote Link to comment

theknife
Are we hoping to add weight and move inside? It seems he's listed as a DE as well. Quote Link to comment

Street Novelist
We desperately need this guy. We can't afford to strike out on any more d-linemen. Quote Link to comment
Gucci_mAYne420
Amir's got quite the motor on him. He doesn't get pushed off the line of scrimmage (granted it's his highlights). Also, I like how they used him as a stand-up pass rusher instead of strictly a 3 technique (similar to how the staff used Maliek this year). Coaches sometimes do this so an offensive line can't cut block their most effective defensive lineman, and we all know our defensive line could use someone quick off the ball who can get to opposing QBs. Would love to see Amir go all N! Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
I'm pretty sure I know the answer is going to be..."I don't know". Â But, does anyone know if he is any relation to JJ Watts? Â Â PS....Never mind. I see JJ doesn't have an "s" on the end of his name. LOL....and I hadn't looked at a picture of Amir. Â But...I'm perfectly fine if he comes here and plays like JJ. StPaulHusker
Picked a couple Miami crystal balls the last 2 days. Didn't know they were a player for him. Some guy named Mark Richt was just hired there, so things might be a bit different now. Quote Link to comment
