The General Election

Recommended Posts

So....my father just left to go vote in a vehicle that is plastered with bumper stickers for a certain candidate.

I am going to laugh my ass off if he gets arrested for electioneering at a poling place.

I'm not sure if the laws vary by state but at my polling place this morning there were 5 or 6 guys standing around pretending to read books while wearing a candidates T-shirt. They weren't right by the door but close enough that I had to walk past them on the way in. I'm sure a car with a bunch of bumper stickers would be fine.

I am surprised that Trump is hanging this close, even though it is really early. However, history has always shown that Dems vote earlier than Rep, or at least that used to be the case.

If you're in line at time of closing, you must be allowed to vote, right?

It's funny, the extent to which one party and one campaign has made a Mission out of stopping people who can vote from voting.

Is that the government we want to empower? Are those the "balancing" down-ballot efforts we want to see succeed, so they can continue this mission of disenfranchisement so diligently pursued in legislatures such as that of North Carolina?

Clinton is going to win and I'm going to live in a bunker for 4 years.

This seems so much "Obama is going to take your guns."

Guess what? It's been eight years. We still have our guns.

Are you judging me? I thought liberals were against that sort of thing....

No. And I don't understand the reason for this need to label. As someone just said:

Wow that's an over reach on your part...

Apparently it's not OK for people to label you, but you can label others. Glass houses, and such.
