TonyStalloni
An old joke about the WNBA. A radio station in a city with a WNBA team ran a contest for naming a song or some kind of trivia. 1st prize was 2 game tickets. 2nd prize was 4 game tickets and 3rd prize was 6 tickets. 1 Quote Link to comment

84HuskerLaw
I have to say that women's BB has 'come a long way baby!" but has a long way to go yet to the point of being comparable to the men. But maybe we should consider creating a Co-ed League with six players on the court and 3 of each, nobody can be over 6'6" and the team average no more than 5-10". We should have a 3 point line and a 4 point line and award 3 to make two on the free throws and award 1 point for dunks and 2 for every shot that goes in and hits the glass in the process. And of course so we become truly politically correct and wacko liberal enough we need a Transgender NBA too. The league will of course have to begin giving drug and DNA and testosterone screenings monthly for all professional and college and high school level players. We won't need doors on the locker rooms anymore so the everyone feels better about themselves and their friends, neighbors and opponents too. Quote Link to comment

Bigred_inSD
They had more talent, the amount of missed layups and such is just dumbfounding. Granted all these ladies could beat me in a game, but the lack of physicality also drives people away. And is one of the biggest problems with today's NBA Quote Link to comment

Phoenix Mercury standout player Brittney Griner and fiancee and fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson were arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct following a fight at their home in a Phoenix suburb.
