Yup,  The fake news played the tape live showing the flub that he totally did on purpose, because if there's one thing I know about Trump, he doesn't like to talk when cameras are on him.  He's always looking for ways to save words because he is comfortable with silence, and when given the chance will always opt to have someone else talk and he will listen.

The funny part to me is it would look so much better on him if he could just admit he made a mistake. I mean honestly, a misstep of words is one thing, but to do that on purpose is just embarrassing.

In a "normal" household, one of two things would happen today.  Either George shows up to work with Kellyanne to get her things and quit.  Or George packs up his stuff and leaves when she doesn't.

 

I don't feel bad for any of the people in this saga, they all brought it on themselves. But I do think it's ironic that a "family first" President is actively trying to add stress to a marriage that is already pretty stressful.

First off, why is it considered such a derogatory put down to call a man by his wifes' last name?

 

And secondly - dude's going off the deep end today.  George has his number and is lighting it up this morning.

 

I can't pretend to understand how a marriage with such different opinions works (never understood Carver & Matlin either) but there's no way I'd let my husband dictate my work, and if he threatened to leave because of my job he probably just should.  The quote from George yesterday about his venting on twitter so that he doesn't take out his frustration on his wife was actually pretty mature I thought.  He said he wished she didn't work for him, but that he is very proud of her.
