The Trump White House will hide behind the military, the flag, the media, the elites, Democrats, their own party, their own voters... whatever is convenient in the moment, really.... to deflect criticism from Trump. Do you also notice that even the simplest thing turns into a major debate, finger pointing, and holding up and protecting Trump's image. The whole thing wt his call to the widow of the slain soldier is a case study in ineptness in handling a routine duty of the president and his staff. A compassionate call, in humility and giving honor to the dead is all that it takes and presidents have done it for decades. Yes those calls are never enjoyable but if you have some sense of humanity and compassion, they can be done tastefully and with honor. Yet this turns again into another 3 ring circus. It all wears the society down and proves once again we are let by an immature man. 2 Link to comment
