Johnny Eutaw
Tyron Johnson, who was a 5-star recruit coming out of HS, is transferring from LSU and looking for a more "wide-open" offense. Nebraska is mentioned as a possible destination. Come on Coach Williams -- do your thing! http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2016/08/lsu_wr_transfer_tyron_johnsons.html#7 2 Quote Link to comment
ADS
Give Williams the key to city if he brings this kid to Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
If we keep getting WR's, were gonna have to start moving them to DE and off tackle. At some point enough has to be enough, yes? 3 Quote Link to comment

Leave him be. We're fine at WR for the future. We need to put more concentration into the guy getting the ball to them. WR's can be dime a dozen with a good qb and solid line. We've loaded up the WR position. Time to put the focus on the dirty workers. Quote Link to comment

We will most likely miss out on Tyjon Lindsey to OSU and Jamire Calvin to Notre Dame. Joseph Lewis is a toss up right now. Hopefully the trip to Nebraska seals the deal this weekend, but another playmaker never hurts. You don't turn talent away. 10 Quote Link to comment

swmohusker
I would guess that we wouldn't turn down a 5 star athlete at a position of need bc we graduate 3 starting wr this year. Seems like he played last year as a true frosh so it is not like he wasn't talented and wasn't going to see the field 1 Quote Link to comment

ADS
Move him to guard or tackle. 2 Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Would it not be nearly identical to us landing Dez Fitzpatrick? I mean, talented guy that would be ready to replace our seniors next season... It's not like we didn't want more WR in the class of 16. Quote Link to comment
gorp512
NU has what is arguably the biggest rising star recruiter in the country as their WR coach. Kids love him. He is exactly what has been missing in Nebraska in the new age of college football. And you want him to stop doing his job so well? Not to mention they have an existing relationship that goes back years. You seriously would let this kid go and not try to get him to Lincoln? That is a real thing you would do? He retweeeted a Stanley Morgan highlight this morning. 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe he's transferring so he doesn't have to a "slap boxing" video with Fornette. 1 Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
I would assume he doesn't like playing WR in LSU's extremely run heavy offense. Quote Link to comment
