I’m reading apolitical mentally ill weirdo. Initial impulse was a crazy Trumper. We were both wrong.

“He was a really good kid who got really far down socialist rabbit holes,” said the source, who added that Azzarello had worked as a grassroots Democratic organizer. “He was just a really decent kid, like a really well meaning guy,” the source recalled, describing Azzarello’s political views when the source knew him as “very old school hippie.”

I mean...I guess this is better than becoming a school shooter...

Too bad there aren't cameras in the courtroom.  It would be interesting to watch trump squirm and blow his top

So Trump's defense is:  "THE BOOKKEEPER DID IT!:laughpound  I wonder if the 'bookkeeper' is his long term friend and CFO.  Funny how they lose stature once they get on the wrong side of Trump.  So, we are to believe that a bookkeeper on their own accord set out to commit fraud without any input, direction, and initiation by Trump ....by the way I have some prime land to sell you in Florida if you believe that. :smokin

Donald Trump orchestrated a criminal plot to 'corrupt' the 2016 presidential election and then tried to cover it up, prosecutors alleged at the start of his blockbuster hush money trial in New York.

In court Trump fumed and shook his head as he was accused of lying 'over and over and over again' to conceal an alleged scheme to buy the silence of porn star Stormy Daniels with an illegal $130,000 payment.   Prosecutors detailed how Trump, aided by allies including the National Enquirer, used a 'catch and kill' scheme to buy the rights to damaging stories about his private life, and then not publish them, and falsifying business records to make the payments.

In opening statements, prosecutor Matthew Colangelo told a packed Manhattan courtroom: 'This case is about a criminal conspiracy and a cover-up. The defendant, Donald Trump, orchestrated a criminal scheme to corrupt the 2016 presidential election.

'Then he covered up that criminal conspiracy by lying in his New York business records over and over and over again.'

He added: 'It was election fraud, pure and simple.'

Todd Blanche, Trump's attorney, told the jury the former president had 'nothing to do with' paying Daniels, and it was handled by a bookkeeper :laughpound.

He also indicated that Trump would continue to deny the porn star's claims that she had a relationship with the former president.

Blanche added: 'There’s nothing wrong with trying to influence an election, it’s called democracy'.  :laughpound

He also accused Daniels of trying to 'extort' Trump. Blanche said: 'She saw her chance to make a lot of money, $130,000, and it worked.'

Blanche told the jury: 'Use your common sense. We’re New Yorkers. It’s why we’re here.'

We all have to collectively admit that it's absolutely hilarious that the guy who dubbed his political opponent "Sleepy Joe" is falling asleep at one of his many criminal trials.

Now, the irony is lost on the horde of people who have and will vote for this guy. The expectations for his supporters should be lower than you can possibly imagine. But, still, this could not be funnier.

What you will get from his supporters will be this idea that him falling asleep is showing off his swagger and how he doesn't give a f#&% about the trial.

It's the sign of ultimate electability - and he's owning the Libs by sleeping through the SHAM trial.
