nic
It will be interesting to see how the Youngkin experience works out for Virginia voters. Not a fan of executive orders but we have thrown any sense of comprise out for the state and US congressional bodies. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/virginia-younkin-signs-executive-actions-banning-crt-investigate-loudoun-county The governor signed nine executive orders that address the following issues: To restore excellence in education by ending the use of divisive concepts, including Critical Race Theory, in public education. To empower Virginia parents in their children’s education and upbringing by allowing parents to make decisions on whether their child wears a mask in school. To restore integrity and confidence in the Parole Board of the Commonwealth of Virginia. To investigate wrongdoing in Loudoun County. To make government work for Virginians by creating the Commonwealth Chief Transformation Officer. To declare Virginia open for business. To combat and prevent human trafficking and provide support to survivors. To establish a commission to combat antisemitism. To withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). Don’t think someone should take credit for something they didn’t vote for, but I also don’t think someone should lie and say Republicans believe infrastructure spending is “socialism”. 2 4 Link to comment

By the way, this was in response to the reconciliation bill, NOT a straight infrastructure bill. Comparing apples to apples helps a little. 2 2 Link to comment
