The Republican Utopia

More and more blacks are supporting Trump than any Republican in my lifetime.

No. They aren't. This has been debunked.

President Trump has recently faced renewed allegations of racism.

Many critics have argued that Trump’s attacks on the intelligence of such prominent African Americans as LeBron James, Don Lemon, Maxine Waters, and Omarosa Manigault Newman were rooted in racism.  Manigault Newman has also made headlines for claiming that Trump is a racist who uses the n-word.

The White House regularly responds to accusations of racism by noting that black unemployment is at historic lows under Trump’s presidency.  Sarah Huckabee Sanders even cited some wildly inaccurate statistics on black employment from the White House podium this week to defend the president from charges of racial bias. She later acknowledged the error.

Trump has also attempted to inoculate himself from charges of racism by selectively citing polling numbers, which suggest he’s remarkably popular for a Republican president among African Americans.  The president, for example, retweeted these polling numbers from Rasmussen on Wednesday.

Trump’s black approval rating is nowhere near 36 percent.

Polling firms that have interviewed far more African Americans, and that are much more transparent than Rasmussen, all show that Trump’s black approval rating is much lower than 36 percent.

For example, Gallup has interviewed thousands of African American respondents in 2018. Its polling suggests that Trump’s black approval rating has consistently been around 10 to 15 percent through 2018.

Trump's tactic to attack black people and women: insult their intelligence

Donald Trump has an endless and varied supply of insults and playground taunts to hurl at opponents but appears to have a one-track mind when it comes to African Americans and women.

An analysis of the Trump Twitter Archive website shows that the US president has used the words “dumb” or “dummy” 236 times since 2011, and on 14 occasions since becoming taking office in January last year. He has targeted men and women, black and white.

But whereas the likes of James Comey, John McCain and Mitt Romney receive a smorgasbord of other insults, the congresswoman Maxine Waters and TV host Don Lemon, both of whom are African American, appear to be denigrated for their intelligence alone.

“Trump’s made the same criticism of black athletes, black journalists and black Members of Congress,” Peter Wehner, a veteran of three Republican administrations, tweeted last week. “He attacks their intelligence. His racist appeals aren’t even disguised anymore.”

This continued reliance on biased Rasmussen polling is laughable.  EVERYTHING comes down to Rasmussen & Fox.  :D

So your reference to "debunked" is only looking at the polls you like and ignoring other polls?  Classic.

The links below show that the trend is real for more blacks supporting Trump now than on election day, and these are not all Rasmussen and Fox despite your wish that they were.

You didn't even read the article I posted.  This was thoroughly debunked during your hiatus from P&R when you didn't want to answer for all the garbage Trump has been spewing and forgot how to get here.

Nor did you read the articles you posted, because this is from your CNN link:

Quote

When you break it down by race, Trump's approval rating is 9% among black voters. His disapproval rating is 85% among them.

And this is from your Epoch Times link:

Quote

Increasingly more black Americans say they approve of the job President Donald Trump is doing, according to Rasmussen polls.

So one link that laughably disproves the Fox News theory that Trump is gaining among Black voters, and another that cites the same biased poll you keep using for everything to show support for Trump.

I agree and that is why I saw there are fringe elements on both sides where many Dems have attended rallies with BLM and promoted BLM as an organization.  This group is as disgusting as the KKK is, yet many in the media did not condemn BLM when it was at its peak in the Obama years.

This is a load of BS. The vast majority of people who support BLM support it for what it says it stands for. My brother and sister in law have been to their peaceful rallies in Omaha and there wasn’t any hate involved.

You can’t be in the KKK and not be a White supremacist/racist. That’s what the group is about.

The same isn’t even close to true about BLM.

You’re saying a group with some bad apples (literally every group in America has rapists and murderers and other bad apples) is the equivalent of the KKK whose sole purpose is to promote White supremacy. Every member of the KKK is a bad apple. The vast majority who support BLM want equal treatment of Blacks.

Umm it called out improvements in several polls including Reuters Ipsos and other polls did you miss that or choose to not acknowledge it.

And a direct quote from the CNN article:

It just seems that for whatever reason the President has picked up a small, but statistically significant, amount of support among African-Americans. The fact that he has done so while losing support among all other racial groups makes it that much more impressive.

Why don't left-leaning politicians strongly condemn those fringe elements of BLM?  I have not seen a persistent effort by the Left to call this out.

More importantly, this mantra that Trump is a racist is a yawn at this point.  There is an attempt to paint him that way (just as the left tried to paint Kavanaugh as a gang rapist) and its not going to work.  His actions as President to support and promote the lives of all Americans speaks for itself.  His policies are improving the economic status of blacks and Hispanics.

I typed out about 20 bullet points of Trump connections to white supremacy and then of course the board decided to eat my post with no trace remaining lol

Here's the easy ones. Several Trump staffers and appointees have been inextricably tied to white nationalism, and Trump himself follows, likes and retweets white nationalism twitter accounts.

When you're polling at less than ten percent, you have nowhere to go but up.  C'mon.  Trump is at 85% disapproval according to your own source.  That's AWFUL.

No matter how much lipstick you try to put on those numbers, it's still a pig.

Well when blacks have supported Dems 95% or more most elections gaining 5 or 10 points IS significant and could sway an election. And if that support is somewhere in the middle of Reuters and Rasmussen that puts him in the mid 20s which is even greater.

That last one is a hoot, because it directly refutes the sham lines Trump said in HN1's video up there.

So now you are using Woodwards book as a source which has been refuted by  Kelly, Pence and more.  This is what is so funny...those anti-Trump forces so want to believe Trump is evil that they will latch onto anything written, and the authors are making out like bandits!

How can you have seen the charts QMany posted and think that Trump’s policies have done anything to improve their lives? He’s continuing a trend that has existed for more than 5 years. There were already policies in place that were lowering their unemployment rate. Trump has done a good job to not change the rate of decrease.

A White person murdered someone yesterday. The White People group should be condemned as murderers. White People = KKK.

Do you see the problem here?

BLM should not be treated the same way as the KKK, and the murders/murderers were strongly condemned by Obama, but they don’t mean there is something inherently wrong with the group on the whole, or its message.

Obama NEVER condemned the protesters that chanted that they wanted dead cops, and if you can find where he specifically called that out, please share it.  He only made a statement after several Dallas police officers were killed in an ambush.  The protests happened well before that ambush.  Again if you can find the video or evidence where he condemned those protest chants of wanting dead cops please pass it along.

Show us where Trump has ever condemned Police killing innocent people, and I'll show you where he incourages excessive force and supports a man who continually violates criminals rights.
