Mavric
Per their Twitter account, some have apparently already gotten the OK for certain numbers. WR Tyjon Lindsey - Corona, California - #1 CB Elijah Blades - Pasadena, California - #1 (Lamar Jackson switching to #21) Quote Link to comment

Huskerfan55
One of the best running backs ever in Husker Football #1. Now he lacked in other areas but one hell of a running back! Quote Link to comment

TJ Alum Husker
One of the best running backs ever in Husker Football #1. Now he lacked in other areas but one hell of a running back! I never thought of him as one of the best, but to each their own... really??!! I have watched most of the greats, and all of them since 1967, and I am not alone when I say he is in the conversation for the top 3 RB's of all time at DONU Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
No mention of Thunder Collins? Maybe our #1 RB's have much worse lives after they leave Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Chris Walker said Riley guaranteed him #55. 1 Quote Link to comment
TGHusker
#s are important to these guys. I remember in HS I made sure I had # 84 - the old Viking wide receiver Gene Washington. I could never catch as well as he did however. I was more of a blocking TE instead of a fleet footed WR - except for a couple plays where I set up wide. But the jersey # means a lot and it becomes a real source of pride if it is tied back to a dad's # or other relative or a favorite pro that they want to imitate. Quote Link to comment
C-4
Chris Walker said Riley guaranteed him #55.Reminding me of Baker Steinkhuler. Both from Nebraska, both were projected to play offensive tackle but want(ed) to play defense, both #55. Wonder if he'll be as good or better. Quote Link to comment

They are who I think of when I see the #55. Quote Link to comment

Well TJ Alum, he was a great kickoff returner. And a good RB. But certainly not in the top 10. Quote Link to comment
