True.

The thing is, Trump is actually doing some things.  Whether these are good or bad is a different matter, but if a search is done listing accomplishments of Trump since he's been in office, the list is growing.

And I realize poll numbers indicate his "popularity" is very low.  But poll numbers also said he wouldn't be elected.

What has he actually done?

Of course the list is "growing".  However, it is way way way shorter of a list than what he claims....especially when he claims he has done something and nobody before him has....which many times is false.

Example.....I just heard him brag about the unemployment is the lowest in 49 years because of what he has done.  BS....this figure has been going down for years before he took office.  Has it continued?  Sure....but, it's pretty pathetic that he takes credit for it without crediting people before him too.

And...you are right....the debate needs to be had on if the actions he has taken are good or bad.

Oh I freely admit the math doesn't add up, and my predictions have been wrong on almost everything.

When people ask which of these scandals will finally force Trump out of office, I think the odds are just as good he will win a second term.

Up is down. Black is white. Cats and Dogs are mating.

Trump has been doing things and I guess you can call them accomplishments. But his "doing' has primarily been undoing — basically everything passed in the Obama administration, good or bad, as a way to get back at Obama for mocking him at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2011. His choices have been so blatantly retrograde and cynical, it seems more personal than ideological. The things Trump hasn't done --- like fill hundreds of Federal positions and ambassadorships --- is unprecedented.

Trump is also fiercely loyal to anyone who compliments him, so many of his choices play to the loudest cheers he got from the angriest people on the campaign trail. But they inevitably serve wealthy people who bear little risk in the outcome. A similar strategy is working for right wing nationalists across Europe. Good times.

I don't think the people who truly wanted a fresh direction in Washington and for this country realized there was actually a level of muck than ran deeper than the swamp.

We could say there's a lesson for us all in the rise of Trump, but since it's highly likely Trump would have been obliterated had he run against Obama himself, and quite possibly have lost to openly socialist Bernie Sanders as well, I don't know what it is.

There's a big difference between the 2 types of polls. One is asking a person who they're going to vote for. It's also split up by state due to the electoral vote. So really there were 50 different sets of polls which increases the chance if the final result being wrong.

The other is asking how a person feels right now.

The sheer amount of middle-school-type bulls#!t drama going on around the Trump campaign and administration is flat out embarrassing......

Our next President isn't going to have to bother going around the world and apologizing, the "apology tour" bus is going to be seen traveling up and down our US highways.

Remember when Trump explicitly supported a blockade of Qatar & said they were funding terrorism?

Quote

NBC News previously reported that Qatari officials weighed speaking to Mueller during a visit to Washington earlier this year, and has now learned the information the officials wanted to share included details about Nader and Broidy working with the UAE to turn the Trump administration against Qatar, according to three people familiar with the discussions.

Qatari officials believe the meetings — as well as fallout from Qatari business dealings with Kushner — may have influenced President Trump's public endorsement of a blockade of Qatar by its neighbors that began last year.

...

Qatari officials believe Trump's verbal backing of the blockade was a form of retaliation by his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, whose family's negotiations with Qatari investors had recently fallen apart, according to several sources familiar with the Qatari government's thinking.

This is so horribly wrong. He's making foreign policy moves based on Trump family business (in addition to undue influence from the UAE).

This is why the inability to disentangle business and government is hurting our country.

To try and save a relationship with Trump administration, they didn't want to give it to Mueller, but were willing to tell NBC news they have evidence?

If they had given it to Mueller, Trump would have probably never knew about it until a relationship with him would no longer even matter.  Now Qatar just becomes another Twitter target.

I'm not buying this just yet.
