suh_fan93
Arkansas State's defense was atrocious. Lots of missed tackles, horrible angles. All of that and we still almost lost to them. Lest we not forget this was an FCS opponent who we beat by 7 points. Not a good litmus test for an offense. Lee did o.k. He had some good deep balls but also had a few that could have easily been intercepted. His true tests await. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lest we not... wait, wait, wait - is everyone upset because they mistakenly think Arky St is a 1AA team? Because they aren't, and they won their conference last year. This was a mid-major giving a P5 team a scare - it happens all the time. 1 Quote Link to comment

Are we sure they weren't a good test for our offense? Or at least the passing game? We kept in a lot of blockers and ran very simple progressions all night. We weren't going to allow them to be much of a test for us. Quote Link to comment

I'm not saying ASU has a good D, but the jury is still out so we can't assume they're bad either. 1 Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Plenty to be upset about don't make stuff up though. Arkansas State is not a FCS team for crying out loud, they have a chance to win their FBS league. Don't be Trump guys. Be better. 3 Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
I think Lee showed he is the real deal. And it's understandable how the hype train got out of control...all they had to go on until tonight was him going against our defense. Myth- Confirmed. 100% true. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Lee is really good. It was nice seeing an actual QB out there. If he had an OL that was better at pass blocking his completion percentage would be close to 70%. Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Rewatching the game now. Lee looks quite good. Our defense is now what concerns me and every other Husker fan. Quote Link to comment
admo
Yeah he played real well for someone who hasn't played in a long time. I'm sure it felt good to be playing. He's human, had nerves and rust and whatnot in front of a large home crowd. He will get better. Next week will be another test but I think he will do fine. 1 Quote Link to comment

Had some of those drops that hit them in the chest or hands been catches we would have seen closer to 80%. A lot of drops that could have easily been caught. I saw 5 or 6 that were either over thrown or thrown in coverage that made it tough to catch. Quote Link to comment
