The OP's angst is not at all about the win this year, nor any imagined smack talking.  Like many other Hawkeye fans with whom I have contact, the real issue is their realization that they were very fortunate to win this year, and that after this year, they will again go back to being a minor nuisance on the Husker schedule.

Take your high horse elsewhere, park it next to the lady who is so willing to exploit those same children as a mean to show how piss poor our team is.

Iowa will be about as relevant to us as Kansas is to the big12 in a few years.  I think a few of them are smart enough to realize this so they are ticked.  Can't blame them Honestly.  Must be horrible to realize this is as good as it gets.
