Where in the paper does it say lineage A and B came from the same stall?

Worobey likened the pattern of the coronavirus' initial spread to a firework, with the market at its center. The explosion started in late 2019, but the pattern had changed completely by January or February 2020, the hallmark of a virus "seeping into the local community."

Furthermore, of those cases epidemiologically linked to the market, the overwhelming majority were specifically linked to the western section of the Huanan market, where most of the live-mammal vendors were located.

When researchers tested surfaces at the market for the virus' genetic material, there was one stall with the most positives, including in a cage where one researcher had previously seen mammals called raccoon dogs being kept.

The findings are "as close to having the virus in an animal as you can get," Robert Garry, a professor of microbiology and immunology at Tulane Medical School, told CNN.

Yeah I probably read that wrong but this seems to indicate they narrowed down at least one lineage to a stall.

Ummm, doesn't Hong Kong know there is a war going on and Covid news is no longer important?

Isn't it great how COVID news just died a quick death and mandates are finally going away. Must be an election year.

Isn't it great that the seven day moving average for deaths is 1500 per day in the US?  That's another 550,000 dead in a year.  Isn't that great?

No, but it’s nice to see it declining.

That would be why the reporting is down now too.  That and a little thing called WWIII.  It's not because it's an election year.

Deaths have also declined four or five times since March of 2020.  Will this be the last wave?  And if it isn't, will the media report on the next wave, election year or not?  Wasn't there a take rolled out by a former president that as soon as the election was over media coverage of Covid would just stop?  That was a hell of a prediction.

Considering the election was a full two damn years ago, and we just had a massive wave of a new variant come through and shut things back down again, even with vaccines, I'd say the prediction was about as far off base and stupid as can be. Pull you're head out man. Trump isn't a victim, boo hoo.

Are you saying that it’s a mistake for all these new states to start removing mandates? Are they following the science or politics?

Wait, so you think reporting should be up on covid or down?

I mean, if things are going great with Covid shouldn't that be newsworthy?
