President Biden alerted the archives that he had these documents and has cooperated with every request they've made. It's not always the crime that gets you in trouble. You leave office.....and you put boxes of stuff just in a random storage closet or garage that has any form of documents (classified or unclassified)? Even when you clean out an office you take a lot of junk that is probably confidential or you didn't need to take. You forget it and probably throw it away some other day. I don't think any of us would have an issue with Trump or Biden having some documents after their term.
